THE MIGRANT PROJECT: Contemporary California Farm Workers –  now in SACRAMENTO, CA

Rick Nahmias’ (co-creator of Fair Food: Field to Table) photo and bilingual text exhibit exploring the human cost of feeding America as seen through the faces and stories of California’s agricultural workforce is on display at The California State Railroad Museum March 3-June 25, 2010.  There will be a FREE DAY on Saturday March 27th which is open to the public.

At 11am on the 27th Rick will give a talk on the creative journey of putting this exhibit and companion book together and at 2pm he will introduce a screening of the FAIR FOOD: FIELD TO TABLE short documentary which will be followed by an exciting panel of local Sacramento farm workers, restaurant owners, farmers and others involved with food justice.
